This includes the procurement of production and aftermarket parts, and implementing long and short term strategy for cost reduction and supply base rationalization.
Responsibilities:
Purchase parts for production and service to meet inventory, production, and customer expectations are met Assist in sourcing activities to ensure optimization in part cost, logistics costs, and availability Participate in cost reduction activities Track and improve supplier quality and delivery Measure, and manage key metrics for inventory, purchasing, and cost reduction Participate in ERP optimization Rationalize supply base Skills and Abilities:
Highly adept at Microsoft Office programs and ERP systems (Macola preferred) High level of oral and written communication at all levels Experience in lean material flow Highly adept at negotiation, contract creation, and contract enforcement Ability to manage multiple timelines, priorities, and responsibilities Ability to execute plans
Experience:
At least 2 years experience preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Education:
