Responsibilities:
- Stock and organize merchandise on store shelves and displays - Receive and unload shipments of products - Inspect products for quality and accuracy - Package and label products for sale or shipment - Maintain inventory levels and ensure products are properly stocked - Assist customers with locating and selecting products - Operate cash register and process sales transactions - Provide excellent customer service and answer any product-related questions
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of produce, packaging, and shipping/receiving procedures - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed - Bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus, especially if able to communicate with customers in different languages Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Basic math skills for cash register operations - Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment - Knowledge of sales techniques and customer service principles Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
